In order to increase the employment opportunities for graduates and meet with the employment needs of enterprises, Party Secretary Liu Hongming led a team to Tangshan Culture and Tourism Group on April 6th for implementing the plan of Secretary and Principal’s Visiting Enterprises and Increasing Job Opportunities for Graduates. Relevant people from the Student Affairs Office and the School of Humanities and Arts accompanied him during the visit.
Kong Shifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tangshan Longshang Village and Deputy General Manager of Tangshan Culture Tourism Group, warmly received Liu Hongming and his delegation. He highly praised our college for cultivating a large number of outstanding talents for the travel industry, and hoped that both sides would continue to promote the cooperation and to collaborate on practical education and social services, achieving win-win development for both sides.
At the meeting, Liu Hongming introduced the overall development, talent cultivation, and graduate employment of our college, and expressed gratitude on behalf of the school for the long-term support from Tangshan Culture and Tourism Group to the school. He hoped that both sides can further strengthen cooperation in employment platform construction, resources sharing and talent cultivation. During the visit, Liu Hongming had in-depth conversations with three newly hired graduates of our college, encouraging them to stay grounded, be down-to-earth, and contribute to the company's development with their knowledge and skills.
Through this visit, our college and Tangshan Tourism Group have established a closer cooperative relationship, empowering the development of both the school and the enterprise.
